The Active 10, a better alternative than 10,000 steps a day?
Dr Michael Mosley, the famous reporter from BBC popular documentary “Trust Me, I’m a Doctor” (which I’ve blogged a series previously) said : ‘Forget walking 10,000 steps a day’. In a recent experiment with groups doing 10,000 steps a day compared to another group, called “Active 10” who do short 10 min brisk walks (say 3 a day), and found out the Active 10 is in fact better with seemingly more interesting (and hence something which you’d more likely do each day) keep-fit routine built into your daily routine.
