How to send an audio file via WhatsApp
WhatsApp allows you to send only video or photos. That may be a pain if you want to send an audio file, like a a song in mp3. Here is how, very simple- you don’t need a jail broken iphone, any app or sophisticated steps as some online articles suggest … Just rename the file extension from audio to video; e.g. .mp3 to .mp4. So long your player on your phone or desktop (if you use Whatsapp from your desktop) can play it, then it will be played without problem. Simple. You can change it either on your desktop using Windows Explorer or Mac Finder; or some file manager App on your mobile. Well, technology is here to facilitate you, not to hinder or frustrate you.
