My Travel Blog
I hope you like my travel blogs. But to give you some background of what I’d share here, it would useful to introduce my travel preferences, etc which will be reflected in the my travel places, mode, itineraries, places visited, etc. Here they are:-
- Why I travel? – have some carefree life experience, for leisure, see new and beautiful things, try local and nice cuisines, experience new things/culture and meet/talk to some locals
- Style – both self arranged “Freedom Travel” and escorted package tours, but more self arranged as we like to be freer and less rush
- Transport while there – like self-drive, but tend to cut down on long distance driving nowadays, train and public transport
- Accommodations – prefer nice boutique hotels than big establishments with many rooms (i.e. more personal service), B n B or Minshu, Air BnB. But for visits in town centers, I prefer conveniently located accommodations to save on travel time- typically good value 3 to 4 star hotels are OK with us. When we have our car, we prefer nice places with tranquil settings which may be away from the busy centers.
