Fascinating visual history of human knowledge
Spend a few minutes to realise how visualisation of human knowledge has evolved from “trees” to “networks”. I think representing them on 2-dimensional diagrams/paper is getting too complicated, how nice if I can visualise clearly in 3D or even better in 4D! The first picture above is a mapping of 10 percent of a mammalian neocortex (part of the brain) showing 10,000 neurons and 30 millions connections! The second is the analysis diagram of the Madrid terrorist attack.
