Not long after this useful function (especially for calling your friends and relatives overseas) becomes available on Android phones (here), WhatsApp has now activated it on iPhones too. Just make sure that you’ve updated to the latest version such as 2.12.1, then you’re on. You’d notice that on each of your contact’s “Chat” screen, a phone icon on the top right corner, just tab to call your friend and save on your voice call phone charges.
