One small act of kindness, talk good

YouTube Poster

Watching this (2013 June Ted X talk by the psychologist – Allison Legerwood) gives a very simple message- but the fact she’s telling us is backed with researches. And if that’s true, then should we do something to make the world better, and equally important, make ourselves feel better and happier! What her and others’ researches have proved that humans tend to stick and hang on negative things for much longer and more difficult to change (compared from the other way round).  Remember the half full/half empty glass?  So if you start with the image/preconception/talk of half empty (negative), you’d likely get stuck more and longer with the negative thought. So may be it’s time to retrain ourselves with more positive talks (stay away from gossips) and work towards a happier self and a better world.

Who knows the ripple effect you can create with one small act of kindness.

We can retrain our minds to become more positive, more forgiving, and more thankful for the beautiful opportunity that life is.
