Ray Dalio is the CIO- legend behind Bridgewater’s success and failure, and of hedge funds. In this 30 min video, he shared his principles of success in life in 8 episodes (people compared this with the US$100k dinner with Warren Buffet). He said that he has come to a stage in his life that he’d share and pass on his insights and what he learnt through rigorous analyses, etc distilled from his 43 years of riding through failures and successes in his career. Being successful according to your own goal would mean carefree living too. This is an excellent insight which may sound mundane and cliche, but I found it insightful and informative to watch. I hope you may get something useful out of it too. Dalio is also sharing his 43 years of experience in the financial market (through his struggles over failures and ever striving) in several talks and interviews since mid 2018, going into the present debt cycles, forthcoming inevitable crisis, downturns, the geopolitical situations developing between US and the rising China, etc. If interested, do see those I shortlisted in the credit and sources section below, e.g. he is saying that we are in the 7th inning of a 9 inning baseball game!
