In TED’s 40+minutes interview with this entrepreneur and successful business leader from Teslr and SpaceX, Musk discussed his new project digging tunnels under LA. Or if you want a highlighted version, iGadget Pro has shared a 10 min highlight on youtube. As many took good messages from his previous talks, the one message that stood out from this interview was a good career advice- “If you’re not progressing, you’re regressing; so, keep moving forward.” Towards the end of his interview, he said ” People are mistaken when they think that technology just automatically improves. It does not automatically improve. It only improves if a lot of people work very hard to make it better”.
Well, nothing new if you’re familiar with the old Chinese saying for “Learning” -「學如逆水行舟，不進則退」
But of course, his talk, as always (here’s another one), contains many inspirations as well as interesting- like enabling cars travelling at average speeds above 200 km/hr in his latest idea of 3D tunnel networks (in his April 2017 talk). Also, note that he’s not betting on flying cars!. I also like what he said that “I’m just trying to think about the future and not be sad.”.
